One Month Into a Fun 2023 Season

• Our first competition week was a busy one and we won all our competitions. Most importantly, we’re having fun, following our mission, and doing the right things. Winning comes naturally when those things happen first!

  
  

• We defeated Eau Claire North 54-18 on Dec. 5th.

  
  

• We beat Nekoosa 45-21 on Dec. 7th.

  
  

• Won the Husky Invite on Dec. 9th. That’s our third Husky Invite title in a row!

  
  

• If you didn’t know, Coach Carl doubles as an elf around Christmas time. Elf Carl officiated the Grinch vs. Santa match up last week.

  
  

• Maddie Hall set our fastest pin record with a 9 second pin!

  
  

• Shout out to Travis Trudell, who took amazing pictures of us in our new singlets.

  
  

• Coach Kelsie also took hype photos of us in the school photography studio.

  
  

• Next up, we dual Decorah and Osage in Iowa this Friday in Decorah. Decorah is honorable mention in the national rankings and is a great opportunity for us.

  
  

• After Decorah, we host Bi-State on Dec. 28-29, and then compete at The Clash National Duals on Jan. 5-6, both at the La Crosse Center.

  
  

• Most Wisconsin women wrestlers don’t get to be in duals yet. With Wisconsin Women’s wrestling still young, we are lucky to be a part of so many duals!
